Rachel is a third-year law student from Cincinnati, Ohio. Rachel graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and Global Politics, and completed her master’s degree with merit in Human Rights at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to law school Rachel worked at a boutique consulting firm in Washington, DC assisting nonprofits and foundations achieve their policy, research, and communications goals. During her 1L summer Rachel worked at the AIRE Centre, a human rights legal charity in London. She split her 2L summer between the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Rachel was a Student Attorney in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic at the law school, the co-chair of the Human Rights Advocates student group, the co-chair of the Organization of Public Interest Students, and a contributor to the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse. After graduation, Rachel will be clerking for a federal district court judge, and then plans to pursue a career in civil rights litigation.
