Nadia Jeiroudi graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Comparative Politics. Prior to law school, Nadia worked for the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa in Harare, Zimbabwe with the Social and Human Sciences Unit. She worked in the areas of migrant inclusion and advancing the rights of women and girls with disabilities in the Southern African region. At Michigan, Nadia has been involved with the Syrian Accountability Project, MENALSA, and the Human Trafficking Clinic. She spent her 1L summer interning for Lawyers for Human Rights based in South Africa in its Strategic Litigation Programme and will be spending her 2L summer at USAID in Washington, D.C. working in the division of Democratic Governance and Humanitarian Assistance.
