Maya graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University in 2013 with a double major in Sociology and Latin American and Latino Studies. After graduating, Maya worked for three years as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Joshua L. Goldstein in Boston. While at Michigan Law, Maya has served as a student attorney with the Civil-Criminal Clinic and the International Refugee Assistance Project. She spent her 1L summer interning with Justice Ariane D. Vuono at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and spent her 2L summer at Hughes Hubbard & Reed.
