Lindsay Bernsen Wardlaw
Lindsay graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012 with a major in International Political Economy and a minor in Political Science. She then spent four and a half years analyzing U.S. trade regulations as a corporate trade compliance manager. At Michigan, Lindsay is a student attorney with the International Transactions Clinic, assisting clients in the development of their corporate compliance policies, and she coaches the university’s Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot team. She spent her 1L summer as an intern at the Department of Justice’s National Courts Section, where she was able to work on cases before the Court of International Trade, Court of Federal Claims, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. After graduation, Lindsay will return to Sidley Austin’s Washington D.C. office to work in the firm’s Global Arbitration, Trade, and Advocacy practice.
