Lindsay Bernsen Wardlaw
Lindsay graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012 with a major in International Political Economy and a minor in Political Science.  Prior to law school, she spent four and a half years in corporate trade compliance, both as an analyst and as a manager.  At Michigan, Lindsay is the Co-President of the law school’s board game club, Secretary of the Society for Space Law and Law of the Sea, and a student attorney with the International Transactions Clinic, assisting clients to develop corporate compliance policies.  She spent her 1L summer as an intern at the Department of Justice’s National Courts Section, where she was able to work on cases before the Court of International Trade, Court of Federal Claims, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  This year, Lindsay will be competing for a second year as an oralist on the university’s Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot team, and she will be spending her 2L summer working on international trade and arbitration matters at Sidley Austin’s Washington D.C. office.
