Kaley serves as the Managing Editor of MJIL. She is also an oralist for the University of Michigan’s Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team, the Vice President of the First Generation Law Students, and involved in many other student organizations and pro bono activities. Kaley graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2011, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Slavic Studies. She was awarded a Fulbright Research Fellowship to study post-Orange Revolution activism and democracy building in Ukraine in 2011-12. After returning to the U.S., Kaley worked in non-profit development in New York City for four years. During her 1L summer, Kaley interned with the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Charities Bureau. She interned with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office in summer 2017.
