Jessica Kim is a third-year law student originally from Seoul, Korea. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in psychology and a minor in Asian studies, specializing in Japanese culture and language. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she worked in various public and private organizations. Most recently, she worked as a behavioral therapist at Autism Partnership. During her 1L summer, she worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Dai-ichi Life and Nippon Life Insurance Company in Tokyo, Japan. She will be splitting her 2L summer between two international law firms in Seoul, Korea. Jessica is currently a student attorney in the Human Trafficking Clinic at the law school.
