Jessica is a third-year law student from Fort Wayne, Indiana. After graduating with an English degree in 2012, she decided to take off and spend a year living and working in the place she now calls her second home – Santiago, Chile. Following this, she worked for several years as an English teacher and as a social worker in child protection before deciding to begin the adventure of law school. Jessica is currently a student attorney for the Human Trafficking Clinic, a policy director for the International Refugee Assistance Project, and an immigration representative for the Michigan Immigration and Labor Law Association.
