Colleen graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2016, where she majored in Women’s Studies and minored in Medical Anthropology. While completing her degree, Colleen studied abroad in Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentinian. At law school, Colleen co-lead a LAWBreak’s trip to volunteer in Belize focusing on LGBTQ rights issues and served as a board member of the Syrian Accountability Pro Bono Project. Colleen spent her 1L summer interning at the Law Reform and Development Commission in Windhoek, Namibia and her 2L summer in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher focusing on International Arbitration and White Collar Crime. She will be externing during her final semester of law school in Geneva, Switzerland at UNHR with the Afghan Mission to the Human Rights Council.
