Allie was born and raised in Midland, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a B.A. in political science. Prior to law school, she worked for a clean energy advisory firm in Washington, D.C. At Michigan Law, she has participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, served on the executive board of the Gender Violence Project, and participated in the Geneva Externship Program as an intern with the International Service for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. Allie plans to pursue a career in public defense. She spent her 1L summer interning with the Alaska Public Defender Agency and her 2L summer at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
