Alexia graduated from American University with a double major in Political Science and CLEG (Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government). After graduation she spent three years working as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section. At Michigan, Alexia has worked as a student attorney in the Human Trafficking Clinic and the Unemployment Insurance Clinic. She also assisted Michigan’s Jessup International Moot Court Team, has served on the Board of the Campbell Moot Court Competition, and is an E-Board Coordinator for the Gender Violence Project. Alexia spent her 1L summer interning on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and will spend her 2L summer at Sidley Austin in Washington, DC.
